Your firm and its responsibilities

You must have authority to create and administer an account for your firm. Keep access credentials secure, invite only authorised colleagues and remove access promptly when it is no longer needed. Only process client information for which your firm has the required authority, notices and lawful basis.

The service supports evidence collection and review. It does not register your firm as an ACSP, submit verification statements, or guarantee that a provider result meets every Companies House requirement. Your firm must complete and evidence the required steps and make its own determination. The automated one-document route remains unavailable until the provider’s security-feature coverage is substantiated.

Prices and prepaid credits

The planned standard price is £9.99 per check. The current introductory price is £6.99, including firm branding. Check the total shown at checkout before buying. While test mode is displayed, no real money is collected and test credits have no monetary value.

One credit is reserved when an automated session is requested. Returning to the same session does not use another credit. A new attempt uses another credit; a declined result still counts as an automated check. Merely sending a client invitation costs no credit. An uncertain provider start stays reserved until it can be reconciled, so it cannot be charged twice. Technical failures are reviewed for release of the reserved credit.

Purchased credits keep their number and purchasing value when the price changes. They currently have no expiry. Future prices apply to new purchases. Refunds of unused paid credits are handled against their original purchase price and remove the corresponding credits. Credits cannot be redeemed for cash except through an applicable refund. Your firm independently sets and collects its own client fees.

Records and deletion

Your firm is responsible for retaining the complete evidence and decisions for the required period, generally seven years for ACSP identity-check records. Downloading one report may not include the full history: use the complete case ZIP and verify its contents.

After an administrator confirms that the latest complete archive has been opened and saved securely by the firm, ACSPverify deletes working records 24 hours later, or immediately if selected. Immediate deletion is irreversible. Scheduled deletion may be cancelled before it starts. The minimal handover, security and billing records remain as explained in the privacy notice. Backup copies follow the documented recovery schedule.

Pilot limitations and commercial readiness

This pilot is for evaluating the workflow and test payments. Do not rely on it as your only records system. Provider assurance, a completed processing agreement, registration and tax details, and operational recovery verification are required before general commercial use. We may suspend access to protect security or respond to misuse. These terms do not exclude rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
